What‘s Going On?

Yes... It's Official. Patrick is running for mayor of Petaluma. Jen's away this week, so Steve and I have a  candid discussion as to why I'm running for mayor. Of course, we can't help ourselves, so we do have to talk about some other things. I hope you find it interesting. We'll be back next with some really interesting views on our schools. Don't miss it.

Another exciting podcast with the return of Patrick.  We covered the School Board results in Florida; the exciting GOP Convention is Santa Rosa; and the Santa Rosa Fair at which people were getting in line to register Republican! 

So, Patrick took the day off again, and left us to talk about whatever we wanted.  Nothing is tabu, and everything is on the table when we don't have Mr. Conspiracy to reign us in, Buwhahahaha!

Matt Brock is running for the 4th District Congressional Seat against incumbent Mike Thompson. That in its self should be reason to vote for him, but he comes with a background that speaks to all the needs of California. He knows about water, farming, forest management and what we need to do to get out of this mess in California.

Steve and Jen didn't have the benefit of the wiser counsel of Patrick on Conspiracy Theories, so they went off the playground and conspired alone, with their pointed little heads wrapped in tinfoil.

Debbie LeBoy returns to tell us about the final election results and what we learned from the election integrity efforts, which will inform us going forward to the November elections and on to 2024. I don't know about you, but I can't wait for 2024.

Stefan Perez is chairing a new chapter of California Rifle & Pistol Association in Sonoma County.  He has all the information on our gun laws, and what our local politicians are trying to do to make it difficult for gun owners and gun stores.

WGO talks with Lisa Landrus about housing the wave of illegal immigrants.  We hear  that there isn't enough housing for our legal taxpaying citizens, so how are we going to house the people flooding into our country? In Portland, Maine taxpayers are being taxed to house our uninvited guest. And that is what is going to happen to the rest of the country.  

We took part in observing the polls, which was interesting if not, a tad boring. But we learned how things work in our voting system, so that was worth the time.  The election results were also revelatory, not really, but again, we learned about how things are done or not done in California.
